TAPP CAPP CABLE WEATHERPROOFING KIT FOR ALL, FIELD INSTALLED

TAPP CAPP is a patented seal cap that when installed on a standard USB cable with a Type A connector provides a weatherproof seal when the USB cable is plugged into a TAPP USB power port.

TAPP CAPP is custom molded from Brulloy 3BR Powersports proprietary MPR material. Brulloy is resistant to oil, gasoline & most solvents. It has outstanding weather and ozone resistance. With an operating temperature range of -130° to 225°F it is perfectly suited to harsh outdoor environments.

TAPP CAPPed cables are intended for use with the TAPP family of USB power ports.

Due to the protective skirt that surrounds the USB plug, TAPP CAPPed cables cannot be plugged into standard USB ports such as those on PCs and other power ports

Hint: The socket end of a short USB extension cable will fit into the seal skirt of the TAPP CAPP. The extension cable can be used as a “jumper” to allow a TAPP CAPPed cable to be plugged into a standard USB port.
