PRODUCTION DESCRIPTION:
Most cold shoe adapters on the market rely on a thumb wheel to tighten against a surface to make an accessory cold shoe mountable. Theyâre awkward to mount, almost immediately slip, and theyâre tallâall of which make for a bad user experience.Â
The Kondor Blue Cold Shoe Mount Adapter is different from the rest. Itâs mounted via a ÂŒ 20 that can be wrenched down via an included 3/16â hex tool. Ideally, itâs mounted to an accessory with 3mm Arri anti-twist pins, however, if your accessory doesnât have those, the pins can be removed and stashed in the adapter. Additionally, the nested rubber O-ring will help to prevent any slipping.
On top of all that, the machined knurling in the oversized thumbwheel is comfortable and has a rubber pad on the mounting side not only to dampen and secure your newly cold shoe converted accessory, but to protect whatever youâre mounting it to. Once you experience what a pro cold shoe adapter should be like, youâll never go back.
